Why Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck "don't feel the need" to get engaged or get married
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are "completely committed" to each other, but have their reasons to wait to formalize. That's why they "don't feel the need" for now.
Jennifer Lopez seems to be playing it safe this time around.
On July 20, she dodged a question on the Today show about the happiness she exudes alongside Ben Affleck. J.Lo admitted that she is "happy", but then quickly changed the subject by talking about the new release of her song "Love Make the World Go Round". The 51-year-old singer responded, "I believe that message of loving each other and being closer and loving has never been more important than it is today."
So yeah, maybe she's keeping to herself what she thinks of her comeback with Ben. But it's clear that J.Lo "hasn't been so happy for a long time," as E! a source close to the Grammy nominee.
According to this source, things are getting serious between Jennifer and Ben, although she is not yet ready to talk about it publicly. "[They] are completely committed to each other," says our informant.
But do not expect to see them walk to the altar right away because the Bennifers do not want to rush headlong to legalize all this legally. Ben and Jen, the latter just ended her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, agree that they "don't need to get married right away," according to our source.
The couple are "completely on the same page" about waiting to unite, our source continues. "They intertwine their lives and their families and don't feel the need to get engaged or get married. They both have already done so and don't find it essential."
Why do you ask ? They seem to be following the old saying that "the best is the enemy of the good".
As our informant explains, "They're both very confident in their relationship, and Ben worships her. It was written, and everyone around them thinks they're a perfect match." Why tempt the devil with a ring?
They have both said "I want it" once (or even three) before. Ben was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, while Jen was married to Ojani Noa, Chris Judd and Marc Anthony.
Jennifer, who gets help from Ben in choosing her dream home in Los Angeles, recently gave a clue about her feelings for the The Flash actor.
"I'm super happy. I know people always ask, 'How are you? What's going on? Are you okay?' I am. I've never been happier, '' the mother told Apple Music in July, without naming her loved one by name. "I just want everyone to know that I am having the best time. It's the best time of my life."
