Johnny Depp fired from Fantastic Beasts, petition demands same fate for Amber Heard in Aquaman 2
In early November, actor Johnny Depp lost his libel case against tabloid The Sun, which had portrayed him as an "abusive husband" to his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard.

A petition posted on Change.org continues to receive signatures, over a million this Thursday afternoon. The goal: to remove the actress Amber Heard from the cast of Aquaman 2. They must not ignore the suffering of the victims of Heard and must not glorify a marital abuser ”reads. One more attack on the one receiving numerous accusations on Twitter, including death threats.
The Aquaman 2 movie is slated for December 2022. The actress is set to star there as Mera alongside Khal Drogo's Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa. Amber Heard was already starring in the debut album released in 2018.
