Clerk who handed gun to Baldwin fired from another production for gun incident
Hutchins died Thursday after she was injured on the set of the movie "Rust" in New Mexico. Baldwin manipulated the weapon while they rehearsed a scene when the shot occurred.
Dave Halls, the production assistant, was the one who turned the gun over to Baldwin, according to affidavits released by the Santa Fe sheriff's department in charge of the investigations.
Halls "was fired from the set of 'Freedom's Path' in 2019 after a member of the crew suffered a minor injury when a gun unexpectedly went off," a producer of that yet-to-be released film told AFP. .

Authorities are investigating the shooting that occurred at the Bonanza Creek Ranch, where Baldwin was filming the western movie "Rust." Production director Joel Souza was injured but was released the same day.
Hutchins was airlifted to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
