Coronavirus: Jennifer Aniston's generous gesture with a nurse who contracted the disease

Solidarity actions become more visible in these difficult times, and several famous people show their generosity to try to make things easier for those who need it most. To a large number of artists who have made donations for different purposes, Jennifer Aniston has joined with a gesture of support for a nurse who tested positive for COVID-19.

The actress donated ten thousand dollars in food so that this health worker, who cannot visit her family or cook on her own because of the isolation, can see her day to day simplified.

In an interview that she gave this week to Jimmy Kimmel's television program, which the presenter conducts from her home, the protagonist of Friends had the opportunity to speak live with the nurse, who was very grateful for the collaboration received.

The woman lives in St. George, Utah, and is on leave after contracting the virus. Her name is Kimball Fairbanks and she has two daughters, ages 4 years and 18 months. "We wanted to cheer you up a bit, so I would like you to meet someone. Her name is Jennifer," Kimmel said addressing the nurse and before relegating the role to both on the screen.

"Hi, sweetie, it's nice to meet you," Aniston said affectionately as she entered the video chat. "I just have to say that God bless you and everyone who is out there doing what you are doing. I don't even know how to express my gratitude to everyone who is putting their health at risk," said the actress, to which Fairbanks responded excitedly, "Thank you, I really appreciate it."

Aniston also shared how she carries the directions to stay home. "I am agoraphobic from birth," Aniston said, revealing that she is a victim of this obsessive fear that certain people suffer from open spaces for fear of contracting diseases. "This is kind of a dream, not a dream, it's obviously a nightmare. But personally, it hasn't been a big challenge for me to be home," she explained.

"The most challenging thing is hearing the news and trying to digest everything that is happening," she said, adding that she does not like to consume information on the subject all day. "I allow myself to do it for a while in the morning and another at night, and that's it," she added.

Aniston has been in isolation at home for three weeks and shared that in her spare time she is discovering her fondness for new chores around the house, like washing dishes. "You're not just doing the dishes, you're washing your hands," she said. The star also recounted that she is keeping busy reorganizing her home. "I was crazy tidying everything up the first week and then I realized I had to go slowly because I was going to run out of cabinets," she joked.
