Dwayne Johnson is an American professional wrestler and actor.
He was born on May 2, 1972 Hayward, California, United States in. Descended from a family of wrestlers, he turned towards the world of wrestling at a very young age. He made his WWF ring debut in 1996 as Rocky Maivia and at 24 became the youngest intercontinental champion. Following an injury, he returns as The Rock. Triple world champion, intercontinental champion and team champion, he dominates the discipline and becomes an inevitable character on the small screen by increasing the number of fights, advertising spots and appearances in series.
In the early 2000s, Dwayne made his big screen debut. In 2001, with The Return of the Mummy, he became the successor to Arnold Schwarzenegger, who happened to be one of his best friends, and thus, a full-fledged movie star. Dwayne also plays comedic roles like in the films Welcome to the jungle or Be cool. The wrestler marks his return to muscular films in Adam McKay's Very Bad Cops. In 2011, he starred in Fast and Furious 5 where he played the role of a policeman. In 2013, he was featured in Fast and Furious 6, but also in No Pain, No Gain by Michael Bay. In 2014, he is Hercules in the film of the same name.
Heart wise, Dwayne was first married to Dany Garcia when he was only 25 years old. Together, they give birth to a baby girl who was born in 2001, named Simone Alexandra. Six years later, in 2007, they announced their separation. In a relationship since 2006 with Lauren Hashian, the couple announced in September 2015 to expect a child. On December 16, 2015, the couple welcomed their daughter, Jasmine. In December 2017, he announced on social networks the pregnancy of Lauren Hashian. The baby, a girl, is scheduled for spring 2018.
