Emma Watson breaks down in tears at final Harry Potter premiere
Emma Watson broke down in tears at the London premiere of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part Two as she said goodbye to playing Hermione Granger once and for all.
She has previously admitted crying during the Harry Potter filming and then blubbing when the cast all went their separate ways so it was no real surprise to see her wiping more tears at the world premiere of the finale to the film series.
It seems 21-year-old Watson can ât help getting weepy over this end-of-Potter business.
The sniffles even spread to co-star Rupert Grint , who arrived on the red carpet with Watson yesterday before the screening in Trafalgar Square.
Grint, 22, who plays Ron Weasley in the films, confessed that he, too, found it â emotionalâ seeing the final film.
He said: â Every film has been just so special. â Asked to pick his favorite moment from his time in the hugely successful franchise, he said: I think it âs probably this.
Watson said she felt Daniel Radcliffe, who played Harry, and Grint were a like my brothers and said they were â scheming â to work together again.
Grint said his character would â always be with meân, adding: â But it is weird to think I âm not going to be wearing all that dodgy knitwear.
Thousands of fans arrived in the West End from all over the world for the first showing of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 2.
They began queuing as early as Monday evening for last night âs screening. Many of them dressed as characters from the films with others waving placards reading â Potter â til I die â and â Harry Potter is over. See you in therapy.

Other stars walking up the red carpet included Robbie Coltrane, who plays Rubeus Hagrid, Tom Felton, otherwise known as Draco Malfoy, and Julie Walters, who plays Molly Weasley.
But the fans reserved their loudest screams for the three main stars.
