Tom Cruise confesses how he overcame his dyslexia
Tom Cruise has recognized, in the course of an interview for "People" magazine, how he overcame a dyslexia problem that he suffered for years thanks to the help of the Church of Scientology.
At the age of seven he was diagnosed with dyslexia, but after the success of "Top Gun" in 1986, the 41-year-old actor was introduced to "learning technology" developed by the founder of that church. "Then I understood how I could learn absolutely everything," confesses Cruise.
Currently, the actor participates in an aid program for children with learning disabilities in Hollywood, who do not belong to that organization but use the Hubbard method. "I want all children to have the ability to read, write, understand what people say to them and to be able to solve life's problems," concludes the actor.
