Daughter of Donald Trump and his first wife Ivana, she was the 34-year-old who nominated the Republican presidential candidate on Thursday night, ahead of his acceptance speech.
And if anyone can help her win back American voters, mostly hostile to the big-mouthed billionaire, it's Ivanka.

A mother of three young children, married to real estate developer Jared Kushner for whom she converted to Judaism, Ivanka Trump is vice president of her father's company, the Trump Organization.

A graduate in economics, a businesswoman, she has also created her eponymous clothing and accessories brand, and has a website where she provides advice to working women.
IN DEFENSE OF HIS FATHER
Brilliant, elegant, calmly speaking, this New Yorker, still recently friend of Chelsea Clinton, is a daily presence in the campaign of her father who adores her.
She speaks in certain meetings, advises him in private, defends him when he is attacked. She had stepped up to the plate in May, when he was heavily criticized on the subject, to say he had "total respect for women", going so far as to call him a "feminist."
INVOLVED IN DECISIONS
She was heavily involved in the selection of her eventual vice-president, and one of the candidates for that choice, Senator Bob Corker, even felt that she would have made a formidable running mate. Others see him as an important role in a possible Trump administration.

From her father she has ambition, but neither impulsiveness nor violence. “The Trumps are playing to win,” she likes to say.
She admitted that she sometimes recommended that he be less outrageous during the campaign.
Is he listening to her? “Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and sometimes for a limited time,” she explained.
