Jennifer Aniston's message for those who believe that everyone should be a mother
There are people who believe that all females have to go through motherhood. The actress has made it very clear what she thinks
Since Jennifer Aniston separated from Justin Theroux, she has been giving her most candid interviews about her personal life, responding to criticism and assuring that "her purpose on this planet is not to procreate." The 49-year-old veteran 'Friends' actress was interviewed by Jimmy Kimmel's wife, Molly McNearney, for the September issue of 'InStyle' and she also revealed she's fully recovered from her latest breakup.
Questioned for life
After her break with Brad Pitt, the press has always mistreated the image of the artist and now she has decided that she wants to destroy all those assumptions that have been made about her. "What is said is that 'Jen cannot be with a man too long' or 'she does not want to have a child because she is selfish and is too focused on her career'. Or that I am sad and broken with pain," he says in the interview. Women do not need to be married or mothers to feel complete. "First, and with all due respect, I am not heartbroken. And second, those are nonsensical assumptions. No one knows what happens when the doors of my house are closed. No one. they know how delicate it could be for me and my partner. They don't know what we've been through on an emotional or psychological level, "he continued.
“There is pressure on all women to be mothers and if we are not, they call us defective merchandise. Perhaps my purpose on this planet is not to procreate. Maybe there are other things I want to do ”, she affirms forcefully.
Sexist press
"I've definitely had my fair share of sexism in the media. Women are dismembered and pitted against each other over looks, clothes and superficial things. When a couple breaks up in Hollywood, she is the one who is despised." The woman is sad and lonely. She is failure. Fuck that. When was the last time you read about a divorced and childless man known as a bachelor, she wondered. But it is not the first time that Aniston has spoken about this issue, in another interview in 'The Huffington Post' she assured: "I am fed up with this physical humiliation that is carried out every day under the pretext of journalism, the First Amendment and celebrity news. We don't need to be married or mothers to feel whole. "
