The shocking photos of Emilia Clarke after suffering two aneurysms
The actress Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, has released some images of her that are going around the world and have overwhelmed many of her fans by her extraordinary toughness. Less than a month ago, Emilia Clarke, 32, confessed the hell she lived in the ten years that her passage through the hit series has lasted.
At that time she suffered two aneurysms, the first when she was only 24 years old at the end of the first season of Game of Thrones. The interpreter who plays the mother of dragons has given an interview to CBS in which she has shown several photographs of her in the hospital recovering from aneurysms. The images have caused a great impact due to the fragility with which the actress is seen.
On the show, Emilia Clarke confessed that it all started with the worst headache she remembers, in "February 2011." “I was in the gym and in my brain I felt a click, like a rubber band when it breaks. Like a huge pressure inside of me and I realized that I could not stand or walk. At that moment I knew I was suffering from brain damage, "she assures in a harsh testimony.
"I reached the sink, fell to my knees and began to vomit violently and voluminously as the pain got worse," she recounted a few weeks ago in a shocking article in the New Yorker magazine. Although she recovered quickly and well, in six weeks she was fighting as Daenerys for the throne of the Seven Kingdoms on the set of Game of Thrones, the doctors found her another aneurysm for which she had to be operated.
"That's when my brain almost died," she recalls. If a part of your brain is without blood for an instant, it dies, it stops working. So I had that. And I don't know why it happened. They didn't know what it could have affected, if it was concentration ... I always tell them that it affected my taste with men », she ends up joking. But really for a long time, she confesses that she doubted if that health problem had left her after effects that would prevent her from acting again. «It was a great fear. What if I can't act anymore? It has been my reason for living for a long time, ”she confesses.
The actress confesses that she was emotionally devastated for a while and she recognizes that she continued working and the simple fact of going to the filming of Game of Thrones on time helped her to move on. “You come on set and you have to play that huge woman, and you have to go through the fire. I think that saved me from dwelling on my mortality, ”she says.
Emilia Clarke announced that she is going to start a foundation called Same You to help patients who go through situations similar to hers.
