This was Donald Trump's hamburger feast for which he has been criticized

The president served a fast food banquet to the college football champions and the world criticized the decision on social media.

It seemed that President Trump couldn't get over the good number of ridiculous things he has done but he did. This week he hosted the Clemson Tigers, the champions of the College Football League, at the White House. The young people expected a luxurious banquet but received in exchange a table with fast food from three different chains (Burger King, Wendy’s and McDonald’s).

Trump wrote a tweet bragging that he ordered 1,000 hamburgers for the players and paid for them himself. This sparked from being trolled by Burger King's Twitter account for having misspelled the word "hamburger", complaints about the choice of the menu in a country where more than half of the population suffers from obesity, to ridicule because a millionaire You can only afford a fast food menu.

Finally, the most frequent joke among users of social networks was to say that the combination of a dinner by candlelight, with porcelain tableware, consisting of hamburgers, is a true reflection of what Trump represents for Americans and the world : someone without class.

Great being with the National Champion Clemson Tigers last night at the White House. Because of the Shutdown I served them massive amounts of Fast Food (I paid), over 1000 hamburgers etc. Within one hour, it was all gone. Great guys and big eaters!

The choice of food for the pseudo-banquet was no accident. It is because the White House kitchen staff is not working as part of the "government shutdown", an initiative in which government agencies do not work because they are not receiving their payroll, or have not been able to collect their salaries.

The users of social networks agree that there were better options to reward the champions but that this gesture has been another drop in the glass of water of the Americans with respect to their president.
