Game of Thrones turns 10 on April 17, 2021. A decade since fans discovered the Season 1 premiere and entered the realm of Westeros created by author George R.R. Martin. 10 years and 8 seasons later, GoT is undoubtedly THE phenomenal series, the one that has changed the universe of series in the world, founded a community and revealed actors and actresses.



Emilia Clarke, the 34-year-old British actress, is one of the stars of Game of Thrones. She starts the adventure at 25 by playing Daenerys Targaryen, heir to the family whose emblem is a dragon. Forced into exile with her older brother, Viserys (Harry Lloyd) on the other side of the kingdom, Daenerys is forced to marry Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa), leader of the Dothariki, and raped. The young woman is one of the strong heroines of the series, who begins a path to victory, rebirth and power.


After and between Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke tried the adventure in the cinema, in romantic comedies with Before you with Sam Claflin (Hunger Games) in 2016 and Last Christmas alongside Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) in 2019. In 2015, Emilia Clarke also joined the Terminator franchise as Sarah Connor. The actress is also in the cast of Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018, the second spin-off of the Star Wars galaxy where she plays Qi'Ra, the childhood friend of young Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich).
