Which Emma Stone scene lives rent-free in your head?
The scene where she sings ‘Pocketful of Sunshine' in ‘Easy A’ still lives in my head rent-free.
Before I saw the film, I had never heard that song, so when she opened a greeting card and that song started playing I had no idea why she thought it was the “worst song ever”. As the weekend keeps going and she's doing her chores, she unconsciously starts singing that song, and the more she sings it, the more into the song she gets:
After I watched the film and was introduced to both that song and Emma Stone, who was still mostly unknown at the time, I searched the song and started playing it and to this day, when it reaches the chorus, my inner Emma Stone comes out and I belt:
If you're around me whenever the chorus hits, you can either take me away or get out of my way, because there'll be no stopping me then.
