The New York actress will star in the Mayfair Witches series, based on the series of books written by the legendary Anne Rice.
We know that it is very likely that you have a crush on Alexandra Daddario, whom you have surely seen in films like San Andreas (2015), Percy Jackson (2010) or Baywatch (2017).

Based on Anne Rice's novels The Lives of the Mayfair Witches, Daddario will play Rowan, a doctor facing her fate as heir to a family of powerful witches.
"Alexandra is a singular talent who has lit up the screen in everything she has been involved in and we couldn't be happier to have her on board leading the cast of a series that will be a centerpiece of an expanding Anne Rice universe on AMC+ and AMC." said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment for AMC.
"We have found our Rowan and we can't wait for her to meet viewers later this year."
Alexandra returns in a leading role
With this, Alexandra returns to TV after giving life to Rachel in The White Lotus, for HBO.
According to information from Variety, Mayfair Witches will have eight episodes in its first season, which will be broadcast later this year.
AMC acquired the rights to Rice's books in 2020, so the next few years will see the return of vampires to our screens, as Mayfair Witches is one of two series based on Rice's work that are underway in AMC, with a series version of Interview With the Vampire starring Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson currently in production.
