Actress Cameron Diaz spoke about the role she played in the movie "Explosive Encounter" in which she had to shoot great action scenes and some romantic ones with her co-star Tom Cruise. "I was probably less nervous kissing Tom than when things were flying over my head," she said. She also spoke of the "mistake" of marrying for life.

Cameron Diaz, 38, said that the most difficult part of the movie she shot with Tom Cruise was managing the action scenes, and that on the contrary, she had no problem filming romantic scenes with the actor.

"We work the roles. It's literally the same job as driving a car. You just try to do the best you can for the story and the characters," said the actress, according to EuropaPress.

"I was probably less nervous (kissing Tom than when things were flying over my head. I trust Tom a lot more than explosions. He's great," she said.

The praise for Cruise did not end there. "He's a funny man by nature. What he's great at is light comedy," she noted, clarifying that "it's harder than elite comedy."

Cameron also had the opportunity of her personal life, pointing out that at her age she prefers to be with different men than to choose one to spend the rest of her life with. "I think the big mistake in our society is that we're supposed to meet someone when we're 18 and we're supposed to marry them and love them for the rest of our lives," she said.

"Who would want to be with the same person for 80 years? Why not cut it a little bit? I think people get tired of getting married and spending 20 or 30 years sleeping with the same person. Don't do it," she added.
