Kristen Bell apologizes to a fan who had an awkward experience watching her s-x scene in new Netflix series

Having starred in the Veronica Mars series as the title character and having voiced Anna in Frozen, actress Kristen Bell isn't particularly known for appearing in movies or TV series aimed specifically at mature audiences, but the over-the-top tone of her new Netflix series The woman from the house across the street from the girl in the window also meant amping up the love scenes to an intense degree, which took some fans by surprise. When a fan took to social media to recall the uncomfortable experience she had watching the scenes, Bell apologized for the experience.

When a viewer tweeted, “Just saw Kristen Bell absolutely CRACKED with my girlfriend and mom in the same room…” Bell chimed in with the reply, “Hahahahaha sorry mate.”

The series is described as follows: “For the heartbroken Anna (Kristen Bell), every day is the same. She sits with her wine, looking out the window, watching life go by without her. But when a handsome neighbor (Tom Riley) and his adorable daughter (Samsara Yett) move in across the street, Anna begins to see a light at the end of the tunnel, until she witnesses a gruesome murder...or does she? ?

From creators Rachel Ramras, Hugh Davidson and Larry Dorf, The Woman Across the House from The Girl in the Window is a dark, wine-soaked comedy with a satirical twist to the psychological thriller that will have you guessing who, what, where. , why and how the hell. until the end.

Michael Ealy, Mary Holland, Shelley Hennig, Cameron Britton, Christina Anthony and Benjamin Levy Aguilar also co-star alongside Bell, who is executive producing the limited series alongside Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum and Brittney Segal for Gloria Sanchez Productions.

The new series posed some interesting challenges for Bell, as not only did she have to play a compelling character, but she also had to deliver an exaggerated version of that role to play the somewhat satirical tone of the mystery.

"We're definitely taking this genre, which is so funny but so clichéd, and making fun of it, so I was looking at the director and the writers and [asking] 'Am I on the right track?'" Bell recently shared with TV Line of Experience “As an actor, I want everything to feel real and authentic, and I want the scene to feel real and authentic, but you really had to be at the mercy of the genre and say, 'You're not in charge as an actor. “Gender is in charge. Just say these words that are on the page. There are people behind the monitors who make sure that what you are doing is good. Sometimes I felt like I was giving a bad performance, and then I realized that's what I needed. He needed some good, bad acting.”

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window is now available on Netflix.
