In that sense, on Thursday she revealed the abuse she suffered from Christian, a photographer.
"I have never talked about this, because they made me feel like I couldn't tell my story without being ridiculed by the general public," she began on Twitter, emphasizing that "now I feel safe, and also the need to download some things that They've haunted me during my brief stint in the industry."
Chronicle of abuse and deception
According to Mia Khalifa, after one of her first videos became known, a Bang Bros executive, Jordan Sibbs, said that a relative of her girlfriend was in town and that he was a photographer for VOGUE magazine.
That's when Sibbs pointed out to her that she might have a chance to appear in some publications and that some opportunities might open up if she worked with that photographer.
"My eyes lit up, I felt honored and touched, I thought maybe the terrible situation I was in could be turned into something positive," he said.
In that sense, she arranged a meeting with the photographer and when she arrived at the Bang Bros office, she thought that there would be an arranged set or some special location.
However, he stated that "from the moment I was told there was no makeup, I knew something was wrong (...) I had never been on a 'real' set, and I didn't want to inadvertently insult the photographer or their process, because what would happen in VOGUE!"
"I was taken to the roof of the building with just him. I was given a hijab and two replica semi-automatic rifles. Following his orders, I posed for photos the way he wanted, while making physical corrections to my body," she added. .
After this she realized that the orders she gave him changed from being kind to lewd instructions and when she thought they were finished, she told him to pose without underwear against a wall.
"My heart started pounding. I know it could be easy to say, 'you had s-x on camera, what's the problem?' But you have to understand the level of fear a woman has when she feels powerless," she added.
Khalifa admitted that she felt violated, terrified and used. She thought about screaming, but she was transfixed on the situation. "I still feel the cold metal of her rings in a chill down my spine," she acknowledged.
"I was too young to realize it at the time, but these men, all of them, collectively and consciously, decided to mislead me. Jordan Sibbs, the photographer, other Bang Bros executives, are complicit (...) weeks later, those photos ended being used for the website that Bang Bros created under my name. For which I owned the domain before, again, they tricked me into selling it to them for a dollar," she questioned.
Commotion in social networks and the birth of a petition
After knowing her story, various people around the world have been moved and impacted by her experience.
For the same reason, through social networks they have shown solidarity with her and have raised the hashtag "#JusticeForMiaKhalifa", with which some type of reparation is sought.
However, a motion seeking signatures also emerged on the Change.org platform and tries to support digital platforms to delete content starring Mia Khalifa.
"We are demanding that her domain names be returned, her videos removed and fairly argued in court without putting Mia Khalifa in deep financial ruin. Mia has expressed regret for her decisions in the p-rn industry multiple times. ", they say on the platform.
In this regard, through her social media accounts, Mia Khalifa said that "I love you, everyone who signed this, you are invited to my birthday party."
