It's been 30 since 'Pretty Woman' was released, a romantic film that marked a generation and forever elevated Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. The plot of the film marked us forever, but so did her costumes and some of the most representative and unforgettable scenes. Now her female lead wanted to remember precisely one of those scenes with a photo on Instagram. We're talking about the bathtub moment.
We all remember Vivian Ward taking a relaxing bubble bath in a huge bathtub while she listens to music on a walkman and sings as if her life depended on it. Well, three decades later, Roberts has made her the particular memory of her. Everything has happened when the actress paid tribute to the MET 2020 Gala that this year has had to be delayed due to the Covid-19 crisis. Dressed in a spectacular black and white strapless long dress, the actress is standing in a bathtub full of foam with a drink in her hand and states in the text that accompanies the photo: "here I am... without going to the MET Gala tonight."

But it is not the first time that Julia reminds us of one of the best-known characters of her entire professional career (if not the most of her). In October 2019 she attended a polo match at the 10th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in Los Angeles and she did it as Vivian on the big screen: with polka dots.
Of course, she changed the brown and white dress of her character for a jumpsuit with a peplum detail in navy blue and white combined with masculine shoes and a belt.
