Demi Moore claims ex-husband Ashton Kutcher pressured her into having threesomes and cheated on her twice.
The actress, 56, has spilled the beans on their high-profile 10-year relationship in her new book Inside Out.
Ghost star Demi is 15 years Ashton's senior and said being with the actor made her feel young again.
In an extract from the book published in The New York Times, she wrote that it was like "a do-over, like I could just go back in time and experience what it was like to be young, with him – much more so than I’d ever been able to experience it when I was actually in my twenties."
She told how they introduced a third person into their relationship on two occasions, but said that it had been a mistake.
Explaining why the romps happened, she said: "I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be."
Ashton was later accused of cheating on Demi with Brittney Jones and Sara Leal, with Demi claiming the threesomes appeared to give him a justification for being unfaithful.
She said: "Because we had brought a third party into our relationship, Ashton said, that blurred the lines and, to some extent, justified what he'd done."
The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Ashton for comment.
The couple met in 2003 and Demi soon fell pregnant with a girl they intended to call Chaplin Ray.
However, they suffered a devastating miscarriage at the six-month mark and would go on to have unsuccessful IVF treatment as they tried to start a family together.
They wed in 2005 and enjoyed some happy years before Demi began abusing alcohol and vicodin.
Ashton was accused of cheating with 21-year-old Brittney in 2010 after meeting her at a bowling alley where he was celebrating Demi's daughter Rumer's birthday.
Brittney told Star magazine: "I did all the suggesting in the texts, it was like he was paranoid and didn't want to text anything that would get him in trouble.
"I asked him if he wanted to meet, that's how we made the plans."
She continued: "He’s a great lover. Very considerate and sweet. And it was very special to me. I felt totally comfortable in his arms. It was tender and nice – not some random s-x act."
Demi and Ashton's relationship soon came to an end in 2011 after the actress saw a Google alert where Sara claimed to have had a fling with the actor.
Demi has no doubts that she was telling the truth, writing in her book: "I felt sick to my stomach. I knew she wasn't lying."
They divorced in 2013.
Ashton went on to marry Mila Kunis in 2015 with whom he has children Wyatt, four, and Dimitri, two.
