All differences aside, Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry and the royal family as they mourned the loss of Queen Elizabeth II. Earlier this week, as Elizabeth's final journey from Buckingham Palace began, the entire royal family walked behind the coffin of the late monarch, the Queen.
The Duke of Sussex also joined the procession and sat next to Britain's Sophie, Countess of Wessex in the car, perhaps surprising many. Meghan and Sophie, who were dressed in black, sat quietly as they drove their car from the palace to Westminster Hall.
However, reports are now emerging about how Markle was "shocked" when she learned that she will be carpooling with Sophie, the Countess, who shared a very close bond with Queen Elizabeth II.
Fox's Neil Sean reported: “Meghan nearly broke down when told she was sharing a car with Sophie; after all, she was hoping to drive with her husband, Prince Harry. But when she agreed to walk behind the late queen's coffin, everything changed, causing Meghan to have, some say, a slight "moment."
In 2021, Meghan and Harry's explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey shocked the entire world. In the revealing interview, Meghan and Harry made several controversial revelations about the British royal family and how unfairly they treated the couple, and their newborn son Archie, back then.
Later, during an interview, Sophie also addressed celebrity host Winfrey directly. During her interview with a British tabloid when she was asked about the interview, she said, "Oprah, who?"
