Shooting s-x scenes is not always easy. Above all, if you like the person with whom you share a sequence. This was revealed by actor Jake Gyllenhaal (40) in an interview with 'The Howard Stern Show', where he explains that it was "torture" to record love scenes with Jennifer Aniston (52), with whom he was in love at the time.
The actor confesses that he had a real-life crush on the 'Friends' actress when they starred in the 2002 movie 'The Good Girl'. When asked by the show's host how this experience was, Jake replied that: 'it was torture, yes it was. Well, it wasn't torture either. I mean, it was like a mixture of both'.
Jake explains that the "mechanical nature" of these types of scenes helped him a lot and that he managed to keep his true feelings for Aniston hidden. "The love scenes are awkward, because there's maybe 30, 50 people watching it. That doesn't turn me on. It's weirdly mechanical. And it's also a dance, you're choreographing for a camera. You can go in, but it's like a fight scene, you have to choreograph those scenes,'' he added.
In addition, Jake thanked the actress for her "good idea" of putting a "well-placed pillow" to shoot those scenes that served as a 'barrier'. An element that "helped him a lot" to film those sequences.
Gyllenhaal, who for many years has been considered one of Hollywood's 'golden bachelors', has a long history of relationships with such well-known faces as Kirsten Dunst, Reese Witherspoon or even Taylor Swift. But everything seems to indicate that he wants to settle down.
The actor was first appearing in public with French model Jeanne Cadieu (25) on the red carpet at this year's New York Film Festival, although he began his relationship with her in 2018. In the interview, Jake, who does not usually speak of his private life, he told Howard Stern, the show's host, that "what I want is to be a good husband and father... That's really what I want."
"Now that I've accomplished a lot of things in my career that I'm comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don't know if I could have said that before," he added.
