Jennifer suffers 'cruel s-x claims by disgraced Weinstein'

Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein bragged of having s-x with Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, a new lawsuit claims.

She said in a statement: "I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him. This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged in to lure countless women.

"My heart breaks for all the women who were victimised by Harvey Weinstein." More than 80 women claim to have been raped, molested or s-xually harassed by Weinstein, who is facing a criminal trial in New York next year, as well as police probes in London and Los Angeles.

Lawyers for the latest alleged victim, identified in legal papers only as "Jane Doe", filed her lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday.

The aspiring actress, who is suing for s-xual battery and discrimination, claims she first met Weinstein at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival in Utah, where she said he offered to help her and told her he was the "gateway to her dreams".

At a later meeting in his office, she claims he forcibly performed a s-x act on her and threatened to harm her career if she objected.

He also pushed her to the ground, the lawsuit claims, and made his remarks about Ms Lawrence when she sobbed in protest after he removed her knickers and assaulted her. The suit claims Weinstein committed "s-xual battery" on her in New York on March 2013, January 2014 and February 2015.

She also said Weinstein "touched himself s-xually" in front of her at a Beverly Hills hotel in 2015 and when she tried to leave, warned her: "Shut the **** up and be quiet. You don't want to **** this up."

Weinstein's spokesman said yesterday: "Mr Weinstein is embarrassed for Ms Lawrence, with whom he has only had a professional and respectful relationship, who has sadly been dragged into this ugly attempt at defamation.

"There is absolutely no truth to the malicious claims made in this lawsuit and we are reviewing our options with an eye on filing for an immediate dismissal."

Weinstein is due to appear in court in New York on Tuesday, where his lawyers will attempt to have criminal charges against him dismissed. It comes after a group of accusers tried to block him from bringing his private emails into the public eye.

Weinstein, who wants to use the emails in his defence against s-xual assault charges in New York, has asked a bankruptcy court in Delaware to allow him to recover files from The Weinstein Company.

But accusers from a separate civil case have asked a judge to block him from releasing the material. They claim Weinstein's lawyers told them he "intended to unleash these emails in the media to sway the court of public opinion".

Weinstein's civil lawyer Scott Cousins said: "This strategy will not bode well as they are going behind the bankruptcy court's back, which has sole jurisdiction over these emails and the plaintiffs know it.

"To claim s-xual assault and then take such measures to prevent the truth from being heard speaks volumes of their motives."
