Sure, celebrity couples might look like they have it all together, but the truth is, it's not always sunshine and roses. Behind every perfectly posed red carpet photo there could be plenty of trouble beneath. And once that trouble bubbles over and you see those arguments made public, you just have to hope there aren't outside observers with iPhones at the ready. Or, you know, legitimate paparazzi.
Sometimes, no matter how much they try to contain it, a bad celebrity couple fight is witnessed, and it seems both nasty and humanizing all at once. Just try to imagine laid-back stars like Jennifer Lawrence getting into a screaming match with her ex Nicholas Hoult over the check.
And when they're not (allegedly) penning songs about the trials of their marriage, Jay-Z and Beyoncé have petty arguments in restaurants like us normals. I guess that's… weirdly comforting.

The two were caught in the middle of a pretty intense argument while they were at Wimbledon.

The two were spotted fighting with each other in the back of an SUV in New York.
BEYONCÉ AND JAY Z
Beyoncé was seen arguing with Jay Z while they were at a restaurant. Meanwhile, he ignored her and focused on his phone.
LANA DEL REY AND FRANCESCO CARROZZINI
No photos were taken of the fight, but the two reportedly had a heated argument at the airport.
“They were fighting at the Delta terminal at LAX Airport on Monday. Lana was completely in tears, crying her eyes out, and fighting with her boyfriend. They looked like they were having a big blow-up fight. Lana looked completely stressed out and upset," an eye-witness revealed.

They were actually filmed arguing with each other during a red carpet event.

Lily reportedly got into a huge fight with her ex, Seb Shaw, at a party. She was so distraught that she ended up leaving in tears.
"Seb was furious with her and they'd clearly had a fight," a close source said.
KIRSTEN DUNST AND GARRETT HEDLUND
In a classic case of a movie date gone wrong, Kirsten and Garrett were seen fighting with each other outside of a movie theater.
SHIA LABEOUF AND MIA GOTH
The two had a fight in Germany and the whole thing was filmed. It actually got so heated that Shia needed to get away from Mia.
"I don't wanna touch you. I don't wanna be aggressive. This is the kind of s— that makes a person abusive," he said to her.
When he left her, he said to a group of men, "If I'd have stayed there, I would have killed her."

J Law and her ex were actually spotted arguing at a restaurant.
“Jen was clearly upset with the topic of discussion. She threw her hands up in the air as she yelled at Nick who appeared agitated with her reaction. Next thing you know he starts screaming too, it was quite a heated discussion before she finally walked out on him, leaving him to pay the bill," an eye-witness said.
