During a live taping for his Netflix show on Saturday, comedian Chris Rock
mercilessly mocked Meghan Markle, questioning why she hadn't researched the
royal family before marrying Prince Harry.
The comedian poked fun at Markle's claims of racism during her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, where she alleged that an unknown royal had raised concerns about the skin color of her and Harry's son, Archie, before he was born.
Rock joked that Markle was just dealing with "in-law s–t" and put on a high-pitched voice to mimic her complaints. Actress Janina Gavankar, a close friend of Markle, was also present at the taping and witnessed Rock's brutal digs.
He called the royal family the "OGs of racism" and made a joke about black people also wanting to know how brown the baby would be.
