The news has been making rounds that Maisie Williams, the actress known for her role in Game of Thrones, has joined a celebrity dating app after her split with her boyfriend of five years, Reuben Selby.
According to reports, the 25-year-old actress from Clutton was encouraged by her friends to join the exclusive matchmaking app Raya, which is aimed at people working in creative industries.
While Maisie doesn't want to rush into a new relationship, she is open to the idea and wants to "throw herself into the dating game." A source close to the actress said that she is looking to have some fun and take things slow. "She doesn't feel the need to race into another relationship. But if it happens, it happens," the source added.
Raya has been used by several other celebrities, including England footballer Mason Mount, singers Ashley Roberts and Demi Lovato, and Keke Palmer. According to reports, Maisie's ex-boyfriend, Reuben Selby, has already moved on and was seen getting cozy with model Phoebe Torrance at London Fashion Week.
Announcing their split on Instagram, Maisie wrote: "The end of an era. Reuben and I have decided to end our relationship. Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers… and it will continue to do so.
This decision is something we are so grateful or as we can protect the magic, that we can't help but emit, whenever we put our brains together. P.s no further questions, please, we must protect our children (my dog)."
