According to an insider, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have requested to be included among the senior working royals on the Buckingham Palace balcony during the event.
Additionally, they have asked for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to be invited to the ceremony, and for their son's birthday to be acknowledged as it falls on the same day as the coronation.
In a recent interview with Sky News Australia, commentator Dominique Samuels stated that the new monarch is "really prepared to capitulate" to the couple's requests. However, she also suggested that a compromise could be reached in regards to the children's involvement in the ceremony.
Despite their wishes, it is uncertain whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be allowed on the balcony during the coronation as it is typically reserved for working royals. Nonetheless, it seems that King Charles is willing to make accommodations for the couple and their family during this historic event.
