Meghan Markle expressed her affection towards her husband, Prince Harry,
by writing a love poem for him when their second child, Lilibet, was born.
In his memoir titled 'Spare', Prince Harry shared that his wife had told him that she had never felt more love for him than at that moment, when they were both embracing skin-to-skin with their newborn. Meghan wrote down her thoughts in a journal and shared them with Harry.
He was deeply moved by her words and considered them to be a love poem, a renewal of their vows, a citation, a remembrance, and a proclamation.
Meghan's words made Harry feel appreciated and valued, and she told him that he was more than just a "Spare" - a term sometimes used to describe royal family members who are not in line for the throne.
