Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been invited to King Charles’ Coronation in May 2023, but they have not yet confirmed their attendance.
As the ceremony rehearsals are set to begin soon, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly contemplating whether they should join or not. According to US-based royal expert Marlene Koenig, the couple should “refocus” instead of dwelling on past grievances.
She suggested that this would be in their best interest. Koenig praised Harry’s recent appearance on The Colbert Questionert, describing it as “cute” and stating that there should be more of that.
The relationship between the Royal Family and the Sussexes has grown tense in recent months, particularly after Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” was released in January.
Charles reportedly decided to evict the couple from their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage, after being offended by the book's digs against his wife Camilla.
