It's been reported that Prince Harry may be using his royal connections to
avoid deportation from the US. The Duke of Sussex, who left his role as a senior
working royal in 2020 and moved to the US with his wife Meghan Markle, is facing
criticism for boasting about his drug use in his memoir. This has led to
concerns about the status of his US visa.
According to sources, a conservative research institute is currently in a dispute with US officials who are refusing to release details of Prince Harry's visa application. The Heritage Foundation has called for the application to be made public, stating that it is in the public interest to know whether Harry disclosed his drug use before entering the US.
The Duke could face deportation if he did not disclose this information. In his book Spare, Prince Harry admitted to using cocaine, cannabis and magic mushrooms, claiming that these substances helped him deal with his trauma. Critics argue that he should face consequences for his actions, and that his royal status should not exempt him from following the law.
