The trailer, which is R-rated, shows Maddie approaching Percy at a dog adoption center and asking him if she could touch his "wiener", before revealing a Dachshund wiener dog.
Determined to fulfill the parents' odd request and save her childhood home, Maddie tries various tactics to seduce Percy, including skinny dipping, serving him Long Island iced tea, and even kidnapping him in a van before getting pepper-sprayed in the face.
The movie also stars Andrew Barth Feldman as Percy, Matthew Broderick as his father, Laura Benanti as his mother, and other notable actors such as Natalie Morales, Hasan Minhaj, Kyle Mooney, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Scott MacArthur.
"No Hard Feelings" is directed by Gene Stupnitsky, who previously directed the raunchy comedy "Good Boys" in 2019, and written by Stupnitsky and John Phillips.
The film is produced by Lawrence, Alex Saks, Naomi Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, Justine Ciarrocchi, and executive producers John Phillips and Kerry Orent. Lawrence has had a resurgence in her acting career in recent years, with roles in the Apple TV+ drama "Causeway" and the Netflix end-of-the-world comedy "Don't Look Up" in 2021.
