According to reports, Prince Harry has arranged a brief visit to the UK for his father's coronation. He will attend the main ceremony at Westminster Abbey before departing soon after to fly back to the US for his son's birthday. This means he will not be able to take part in post-coronation festivities.
Royal insider, Omid Scobie, shared on Twitter that Archie's birthday played a part in the couple's decision, saying: "Expect it to be a fairly quick trip to the UK for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey."
Once he has fulfilled his duties at the coronation, Prince Harry is expected to make his way back to the US. His wife, Meghan, has reportedly planned an intimate birthday celebration for Archie, which will be attended by Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, Archie’s school friends, and a few celebrity friends of the couple.
An insider told Page Six that Harry is making every effort to return to the US in time for Archie's birthday. The celebration is said to be low-key, with no extravagant parties planned.
