According to a recent report, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may be
putting their financial stability at risk by distancing themselves from their
royal status.
PR expert and Chief Executive of Go Up, Edward Coram-James, has pointed out that if the couple completely disengage from their royal duties, they could lose their "royal currency," as well as their relevance and financial support.
He went on to explain that although the Sussexes have moved away from the UK, they still need to maintain some of their royal traditions in order to be successful. This could be why they have chosen to retain their royal titles and styles for themselves and their children.
The expert suggests that attending important events like the coronation is essential for the couple to be seen as relevant and maintain their status.
