The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were seen enjoying their new role as they mingled with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team in Wales, who risk their lives every day to keep walkers and climbers safe on the nearby mountain range.
After taking part in training activities like rappelling, medical support exercises, and a search dog rescue demonstration, the future king and his wife headed to Dowlais Rugby Club to meet members of the local community.
The royal couple then ordered 22 delicious pies, including pepperoni, margherita, barbecue chicken, and goats' cheese pizzas, which they personally took to share with the rescue teams in Dowlais.
They were even captured in photos as they picked up the pizzas from a local pizza van and handed them over to the Mountain Rescue team.
Overall, it was an unforgettable day of camaraderie and appreciation for the brave and selfless rescuers.
