Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been requested to provide the videos they allegedly filmed during their car chase in New York City in order to substantiate their claims.
The couple's spokesperson asserted that they were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase" while returning from a gala on May 17, 2023.
However, doubts have been raised regarding the accuracy of their account, given the heavily congested streets of New York City.
The taxi driver who picked up the Sussexes commented, "I wouldn't describe it as a chase," and two New York police officials downplayed the incident, stating that they didn't believe it was "near catastrophic."
Furthermore, the photo agency disputed the couple's claims by pointing out that the paparazzi were simply following them. In order to substantiate their allegations, Harry and Meghan have been urged to provide evidence.
According to an insider who spoke to Radar Online, "Harry and Meghan, along with their entourage, captured crucial moments of the incident on video." The source added, "If they wish to support their case and counter those who have questioned their version of events – including the mayor of New York and the police – they should release the video. After all, video footage cannot deceive, can it?"
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Prince Harry is expected to hand over the videos he recorded to the NYPD, as they seek to hold individuals accountable for the incident.
