Concerns are arising about the future of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as Prince Harry was recently seen alone, conspicuously without his wedding ring.
The royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, reside together with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, it has been reported that Harry occasionally takes solitary trips to a hotel near their opulent mansion in Montecito.
According to the Scottish Express, Prince Harry has a designated room at the luxurious San Vicente Bungalows in California, where he seeks solace away from his wife and children. Despite their public display of unity, the couple has faced persistent rumors of a rift in recent months.
A royal commentator has expressed concerns that this could be the "beginning of the end" for their relationship.
A representative for the couple has dismissed any speculation about troubles in their marriage, but experts have not refrained from offering their opinions on the state of their relationship, as reported by The Daily Record. An initial report by The Sun quoted a source who referred to the hotel room as Harry's "escape place."
Located approximately two hours away from their £12 million residence, the hotel enforces strict privacy regulations. San Vicente Bungalows, a private members club in Los Angeles, strictly prohibits guests from taking pictures within the premises and requires that phone cameras remain covered at all times.
Furthermore, guests are forbidden from discussing their experiences during their stay and are prohibited from approaching or interrupting other members, as outlined on the hotel's FAQ page.
To join this exclusive club, which has an annual fee of around £3,200, applicants must undergo a vetting process rumored to involve Hollywood actress Julia Roberts. Nonetheless, a spokesperson for the couple's non-profit organization, Archewell, has denied the existence of the room at the upscale resort, dismissing the rumors.
Royal expert Kara Kennedy has speculated that these reports shed light on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship, revealing that it may not be as idyllic as it appears amidst their ongoing public scrutiny. During an interview with GB News, Kennedy remarked, "Every time you see them together, Harry seems resentful, while Meghan wears a constant Cheshire Cat smile. Even in paparazzi photos, Harry appears angry and somewhat lost, while Meghan seems ever-ready for the camera."
She went on to say, "I believe this marks the beginning of the end. Many people anticipated it, considering the significant power dynamic disparity between them. Remember the Time Magazine front cover? When Harry was positioned behind Meghan, it prompted jokes about him resembling a hairdresser. Such dynamics breed resentment."
Reports of Harry's private room surfaced shortly after the couple's fifth wedding anniversary, which they celebrated last week. Curiously, there was a noticeable lack of public photographs commemorating the event.
Harry and Meghan have gradually reemerged into the public eye after months of monarchy-related drama, including the release of their controversial Netflix documentary and Harry's bombshell memoir, in which he made damaging allegations against his family. Recently, the couple issued a statement accusing paparazzi in New York City of nearly causing a "near catastrophic" car accident, alleging that half a dozen photographers relentlessly chased them and Meghan's mother through the city in a reckless car chase.
