In a recent analysis, royal commentator Daniela Elser delves into the Duke of Sussex's habit of indulging in video games until the early hours of the morning, casting a shadow on his overall state of mind.
Elser aptly describes this routine as 'depressing,' highlighting the potential inner sadness that might have emerged in Prince Harry following his wedding to Meghan Markle.
In her column on news.com.au, Ms. Elser reveals, "It appeared that the royal's life was on an upward trajectory: a wonderful partner who promised to bring positive change to the royal family, much like the end of the era when intermarriage with first cousins was commonplace, and his philanthropic efforts were flourishing."
Elser goes on to draw a comparison between Harry and a teenager in need of a wake-up call, urging him to embrace personal hygiene, a stern lecture, and gainful employment.
In his memoir, titled 'Spare,' Prince Harry opens up about another troubling habit that has persisted since his teenage years. He admits to using cocaine during that time, recounting an incident at a friend's house during a hunting weekend where he was offered a line of the drug. Subsequently, he found himself consuming it on subsequent occasions.
The experience of cocaine, as Harry recalls, was not particularly enjoyable or uplifting as it seemed to be for others. However, he confesses that it did offer him a sense of altered reality, which was his primary objective at the time—to feel different and break away from his usual state of being.
