The report suggests that this move has seemingly "backfired" for King Charles, as it has only fueled the couple's determination to continue speaking out about the Royal Family and taking critical shots from various angles.
The primary objective behind stripping the couple of their titles was supposedly to safeguard the monarchy. However, as per the report, this decision has turned out to be a double-edged sword in the long run, leading to unintended consequences.
Meanwhile, a royal editor from the Sunday Times, as quoted by news.com.au, remarked, "If the past three years have shown anything since the Sussexes stepped down from royal duties, it is that banning them from using their HRH titles has only emboldened them to take on all the battles that royal life once prevented them from entering."
News.com.au further reported that Prince Harry has been actively engaged in a "truth-telling" campaign, especially in recent months. This includes the release of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Netflix docuseries in December, followed by Harry's memoir, "Spare," which came out the following month.
In his book, released earlier this year, Harry directed his attention towards his father King Charles, his brother Prince William, and Queen Consort Camilla, shedding light on their strained relationships.
