Prince Harry Expelled from 2020 Sandringham Summit for Co-Prince of Wales Request

Prince Harry Expelled from 2020 Sandringham Summit for Co-Prince of Wales Request

There is a new rumor circulating on Twitter regarding Harry and Meghan's alleged request to be titled as co-monarchs with William and Catherine in the future. According to the rumor, it is said that Harry made this request during the 2020 Sandringham Summit.

While there is speculation about the occurrence, some suggest that it might have taken place prior to the Queen's funeral.

It is believed that the idea first emerged during the couple's Australia tour, where their public appearance received negative attention. The rumor further suggests that the Queen sent Prince Andrew to Australia to apologize for Harry and Meghan's actions.

Reportedly, Harry insisted that Meghan should take the throne instead of the Queen upon his return to the UK. He apparently viewed Meghan as the true rock star who would bring about a new era for the monarchy. According to the rumors, Harry wanted Megan to be the center of attention for the entire family.

When his demand did not meet his expectations, it is claimed that he proposed he and Meghan reign alongside William and Catherine. This is believed to be one of the reasons behind the Sussexes' split from Kensington Palace and their attempt to establish their own court.

Another rumor attached to this is that Harry not only wanted to become co-monarchs but also desired to split the funds from the Duchy of Cornwall with William. Royal fans have expressed skepticism towards these rumors, with some stating that the Queen would never hand over the crown to someone she didn't know, and Megan has no blood relation to the Queen.

Additionally, it is pointed out that the concept of co-monarchs is typically reserved for cases when the monarch is underage and a regent is appointed until they come of age. Furthermore, the funds from the Duchy of Cornwall are meant for upkeep purposes, with only a small portion available for personal spending. Some speculate that it might have been Megan's lack of understanding of the monarchy's workings that influenced Harry's beliefs regarding entitlement to the Duchy of Cornwall title and the throne based on their popularity.

Overall, there are differing opinions on the veracity of the rumors, with some suggesting that while Harry may not have explicitly mentioned being a co-prince, the expectation of being treated as William's equal might have been present throughout his life due to efforts to maintain fairness in their upbringing. However, such expectations are not necessarily reflective of the protocols and order of precedence within the monarchy.
