Prince Harry's Interview Nominated for TV Awards

The interview conducted by Prince Harry as part of the promotional activities for his book 'Spare' has received a nomination for the National Television Awards (NTA). Interestingly, Piers Morgan, a strong critic of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, is also a contender in the same category.

The award ceremony, often regarded as television's grandest night of the year, is scheduled to be hosted by Joel Dommett on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. People have been invited to cast their votes by 11 PM on Friday, June 2nd, 2023.

In his first interview aimed at promoting his memoir, titled "Spare," Prince Harry sat down with Tom Bradby, and the conversation aired on the UK network ITV in January. Throughout the interview, Harry openly discussed various aspects covered in the book.

He touched upon deeply personal topics such as the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, the strained relationship with his brother, Prince William, his interactions with King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, and his decision, alongside Meghan, to step back from their royal duties.

During the interview, Bradby inquired about the drug use mentioned in the memoir, and it might surprise some that Prince Harry admitted to using marijuana, magic mushrooms, and cocaine. In response, Harry acknowledged the importance of recognizing his past actions.

Moreover, Harry revealed that both he and Prince William had urged King Charles not to marry Camilla. However, they ultimately respected their father's decision to proceed with the marriage, and according to Harry, Charles and Camilla are currently very content together, which brings them joy.
