These observations were shared by Shannon Fletton, a royal expert and former head of communications and politics. In a detailed interview with Fox News Digital, she emphasized the importance of Harry redirecting his focus elsewhere.
Fletton explained, "If I were advising a wealthy client who desired to enhance their social standing, I would encourage them to join influential charitable organizations, serve on boards and host committees, donate generously, and engage in pleasant lunches with CEOs and board chairs. In return, they would gain recognition at gala events and receive awards.
This seems to be the playbook Meghan and Harry are following. It's like a basic course in being a socialite, but I believe Meghan has grander ambitions."
Fletton also expressed her belief that this might be the opportune moment for the couple to "turn the page" because they have already made a substantial sum of $100 million from their tell-all ventures. She suggested that this amount should be sufficient seed money to commence their work with Archewell. Fletton stated, "It's time for them to demonstrate some tangible impact to the public."
However, she acknowledged that their content might be facing demands for diversification from the brands they are associated with, as it has become quite stagnant. Fletton noted, "Despite securing lucrative deals, they have delivered very little in reality."
Fletton emphasized that releasing only one podcast in three years is not a sufficient accomplishment to justify the $100 million they have earned.
