During his brief visit to the UK to provide evidence in his High Court phone-hacking case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN), the Duke is believed to have not seen his father, the King, or his brother, the Prince of Wales.
Despite spending three nights in Britain, Harry adhered to the usual practice and promptly returned to the US without extending his stay any longer than necessary. Accompanied solely by his security team, he stayed at his Windsor home, which is likely to be his final visit there.
Earlier this year, the King evicted the Duke and Duchess from Frogmore Cottage shortly after Harry's memoir, Spare, was published.
Although Meghan and Harry were given until early summer to vacate, it is unlikely that they will be returning to the UK in the upcoming weeks.
On the previous Sunday, the Duke celebrated his daughter Princess Lilibet's second birthday with his family before flying overnight from Los Angeles to London. As a result, he missed the opening day of his case against MGN in court and received a rebuke from the judge, Justice Fancourt.
The judge expressed surprise that Harry's legal team did not follow his instructions to have the first witness available on Monday. Subsequently, Harry appeared in court and underwent intense cross-examination for eight hours, during which he admitted to there being "a lot" involved.
After leaving the court shortly after 5pm on Wednesday, he waved to onlookers while being driven away in a black Range Rover. It is believed that the Duke boarded a flight back home on Thursday afternoon, eager to return to his family "as quickly as possible."
