'Seeds of discord' between Harry and William began to be sown at early age

Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles III, has taken legal action against a British tabloid, accusing them of engaging in phone hacking, "blagging" (obtaining information through deception), and employing private investigators for illicit activities.

Representing the Duke of Sussex, David Sherborne, the lawyer, highlighted in court on Monday that Harry's relationship with his older brother, Prince William, has suffered from a sense of "mistrust" fueled by articles published by these tabloid newspapers.

The barrister specifically referred to a 2003 article that detailed a purported disagreement between the royal siblings, Prince William and Harry, regarding Paul Burrell, their mother's former butler.

"Even at such an early formative stage," the barrister emphasized to the court, "the seeds of discord between these two brothers are starting to be sown."

Mr. Sherborne further acknowledged that disagreements can naturally arise between siblings but emphasized that when such disagreements are made public and their innermost feelings exposed in this manner, trust begins to erode.

Harry's lawyer stressed how this type of activity can sow mistrust from an early age, highlighting the damaging effects.

As the trial unfolds in the High Court of London, all eyes are on Meghan Markle's husband, Harry, as he prepares to testify and present evidence against the publisher of the Mirror.

William's younger brother is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday as part of an ongoing legal battle centered on allegations of unauthorized information gathering by tabloid newspapers.
