Duke Locked In! US Denies Release of Prince Harry's Visa Application amid Critical Investigations

The Department of Homeland Security has denied a Freedom of Information Act request for the release of details regarding Prince Harry's visa application to the United States, marking the second time such a request has been rejected. The U.S. government cited Prince Harry's right to privacy as the reason for withholding the information.

This decision comes amid public uproar regarding Prince Harry's drug use. Despite the controversy surrounding his drug admissions, the Department of Homeland Security has maintained its refusal to disclose the details of his visa application.

It is worth noting that admissions of drug use can impact the approval of visa applications, although it is not an absolute rule.

In his revealing memoir, which was released in January, Prince Harry openly admitted to using marijuana, cocaine, and narcotic mushrooms. Under U.S. law, foreigners who have admitted to drug use may face challenges when seeking entry or relocation to the United States.

In June, the Heritage Foundation's attorneys took the matter to court in an attempt to compel the Department of Homeland Security to respond to their Freedom of Information Act request regarding Prince Harry's visa application. However, Judge Karl Nichols declined to issue an injunction and asked U.S. officials to address the conservative think tank's request.

Following the judge's decision, Neil Gardner of the Heritage Foundation expressed his frustration in an online statement. He criticized the lack of transparency in the Biden Administration and deemed the Department of Homeland Security's efforts to block the foundation's requests as unacceptable, vowing to challenge their position.

Since stepping down as senior members of the royal family in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have settled into their life in the United States, establishing themselves as public figures in America. The couple currently resides in California with their two young children, four-year-old Archie and two-year-old Lilibet.
