On the 4th of July last week, Prince Harry took his young daughter to an event, and their interaction caught the attention of experts.
In the pictures, the Duke of Sussex can be seen tightly holding his daughter as they immersed themselves in the festivities. Princess Lilibet, who celebrated her second birthday last month, wore a blue floral dress and joined her father on this rare public outing.
According to body language expert Darren Stanton, the way Prince Harry held his little daughter reveals insights into his approach to parenting. Stanton commented, "You can tell how much he cares as a father and how seriously he takes fatherhood. From the way he was holding her, I could tell that he was feeling very happy at that moment while also protecting her. He is clearly at his happiest when he is with his children and Meghan. They have shown that they have a great relationship with their children from the beginning."
Stanton further added, "Harry's body language suggests that he is a very hands-on dad, and it is important for him to be that way with his kids. He doesn't hold back from showing his affection and involvement."
Prince Harry and Meghan have a second child, four-year-old son Archie, although they weren't pictured during this sweet moment. It is understood that Meghan and Archie were also part of the festivities later on.
The family of four currently resides in California and a sweet video captured them waving during the 4th of July parade. While Harry enjoyed the festivities in the United States, King Charles celebrated his Scottish coronation with masses in Edinburgh.
Harry and Meghan moved to the U.S. in 2020, along with their then nearly one-year-old son Archie. After settling into their new life, the couple welcomed their daughter, Lilibet, in June 2021.
