Fiery Clash: Meghan's Defiant Response to Accusations of Faking Racism

Top US writer Michael R. Jackson criticizes Meghan Markle for what he calls her victim mentality and alleged fabrication of racism claims.

While the royal family expressed shock over the Sussexes' controversial accusations of racism against them, celebrated American playwright Michael R. Jackson admitted to having doubts about some of their assertions.

In an interview with Richard Eden, Jackson shared his mixed feelings, stating that he could empathize with the couple on one level but also felt skeptical about certain aspects of their claims.

The Sussexes had alleged that an unnamed member of the royal family had expressed concerns about the potential skin color of their first child while Meghan was pregnant with Archie. Jackson found the interview to be frustrating, emphasizing the importance of being specific when discussing such a critical issue as racism.

He further remarked that the couple seemed to say a lot without conveying much substance. While Queen Elizabeth was known for her composure, the monarchy's patience was tested following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's televised interview with Oprah Winfrey. The royal family, including Prince William, responded cautiously, with the palace remaining silent for a period of time.

The late Queen insisted on watching the program alongside the rest of the population on ITV, delaying the palace's official response. According to Valentin Lowe's biography, courtiers explained that the Queen's delay was due to her desire to assess the interview firsthand.

Meanwhile, Prince William reportedly experienced physical distress while awaiting the interview's broadcast. Charlotte Griffith, a commentator on GB News, revealed that William was deeply concerned, displaying signs of worry, loss of appetite, and a temporary withdrawal from public view.

Despite raising eyebrows, the royal family carefully considered their next steps and were determined not to engage in a tit-for-tat exchange with Harry and Meghan. William and Kate firmly stood behind the institution, expressing the need for a response that conveyed the disapproval of many of the claims made by the Sussexes.

The Queen took her time processing Harry and Meghan's actions, but inside sources previously disclosed that she was heartbroken over the couple's behavior. A close friend of Her Majesty revealed that instead of supporting the Queen during a vulnerable time when she had just lost her husband, Harry and Meghan continued to publicly attack her and her life's work.

The announcement of Harry's memoir, especially during a period when his grandmother was both grieving and in ill health, was seen as particularly cruel. The source expressed astonishment at the lack of sensitivity displayed by the couple.
