The big question on everyone's mind is how long it will take for Harry to completely detach himself from the show business world, a life that he appears to be ill-suited for and visibly uncomfortable with, as noted by Alison Boshoff in her piece for the outlet.
It's worth noting that Harry never truly aspired to be a podcaster or a TV executive. He didn't share the same enthusiasm as Meghan for these ventures, with the Duchess of Sussex signing a $20 million deal with the streaming platform. However, that partnership was recently terminated, as confirmed by a joint statement from both parties.
The statement expressed pride in the series they created together, "Archewell Audio," which consisted of 12 episodes featuring notable guests such as Serena Williams, Mariah Carey, Mindy Kaling, and Paris Hilton.
The cancellation of the podcast has prompted Netflix, with whom Harry and Meghan have a partnership, to clarify its stance on their working relationship. A Netflix spokesperson stated that Archewell Productions, the production company founded by Harry and Meghan, is actively working on several projects with them.
The spokesperson emphasized the value Netflix places on their partnership. It is worth mentioning that the documentary featuring Harry and Meghan, released on Netflix, had the highest debut viewership for a documentary on the platform. They will continue collaborating on various projects, including the upcoming documentary series "Heart of Invictus."
While Meghan Markle is reportedly exploring new opportunities, with recent reports suggesting she may be considering a deal with Dior through her talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, Harry is believed to be stepping back from the limelight.
According to Variety, Markle has been engaged in meetings since signing with her talent agency's CEO, Ari Emanuel, and his team in April. It appears that she is actively working on reinventing herself.
