Harry Contacts Archie's Biological Mother's Lawyer to Reject Meghan Markle's $80M Custody Fee Request After Divorce

Amid their ongoing legal battle, Harry has reached out to both Archie's biological mother and a lawyer to reject Meghan Markle's claim for an $80 million custody fee following their divorce.

Meghan had filed a claim seeking the substantial amount of money along with full custody of their children. However, it seems that Harry does not agree with her demands.

Over the past year, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's marriage has been extensively covered, with podcasts, documentary series, and Harry's autobiographies shedding light on their life together as celebrities.

Their relationship has been the subject of public scrutiny, with details and rumors often shared, highlighting the growing distance between Prince Harry and the royal family. Amidst this media circus, false and misleading claims have emerged, including a recent rumor shared on social media suggesting that Meghan had filed for divorce and requested an exorbitant sum of $80 million along with total custody of Archie.

A tweet by commentator Aida Glitch gained significant attention, alleging that Meghan Markle was separating from Harry and had filed divorce papers seeking the mentioned sum of money and custody of their children.

However, it's important to note that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been targets of numerous false rumors on social media, including false claims about Meghan's age and ethnicity. The aforementioned claim about the divorce filing and custody fee lacks credibility and reliable sources.

Two articles from Spanish news outlet Marca and entertainment site Showbiz Cheat Sheet were cited as the basis for the tweet by Aida Glitch. However, the Marca article mentioned the $80 million filing but did not provide any original or verifiable sources, only referring to the British press.

On the other hand, the Showbiz Cheat Sheet article discussed the possibility of divorce rumors but did not mention any filing. Sources close to the couple have dismissed these claims, affirming that they are happy together.

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently seen together in public, rumors about the state of their marriage persist. However, there is no credible evidence supporting the notion that Meghan has filed an $80 million divorce from Harry. Newsweek has reached out to Meghan Markle's representative for comment on this matter.

In the midst of these legal battles and media attention, Prince Harry faces challenges in his media career in the United States alongside Meghan Markle. Their debut documentary series on Netflix failed to secure an Emmy nomination in the category of outstanding documentary or non-fiction series.

Despite negative reviews from critics, the series, titled "The Harry & Meghan Saga," garnered global viewership and became the fastest-streamed docu-series on Netflix since its release on December 8, 2022.
