This revelation follows her application to trademark her former blog in November 2022. It's worth noting that Meghan had shut down her blog before marrying Prince Harry, but during its existence, it featured a range of content, from her favorite restaurants to lifestyle tips, bearing a resemblance to Gwyneth Paltrow's 'goop.'
Speaking to The Mirror, a former friend of Meghan's, Lizzy Cundy, suggested that Meghan might be reinventing herself to regain popularity. Cundy commented, "Megan has probably thought, 'I'm never going to make it back in the UK,' and she's having to reinvent herself to be liked and get some popularity back."
It appears that Meghan's social circle is dwindling, as Cundy remarked, "She's slowly losing her A-list friends, from the Beckhams to Oprah Winfrey; they're all dropping like flies around her."
It seems that Meghan is considering a resurrection of 'The Tig' website to transform herself into the new Gwyneth Paltrow. Additionally, Meghan has been seen associating with the "Montecito Mafia Wellness Group," known for their aspiration to emulate Gwyneth's lifestyle brand.
But the question remains: Is Meghan's popularity at an all-time low, even across the pond? The answer is uncertain. The term "Montecito Mafia" is not tied to any criminal activity but refers to Meghan and Harry's close inner circle, which includes affluent and influential neighbors in their picturesque community. Members of this group are rumored to include Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia de Rossi, Gloria Steinem, and Gayle King, among others.
Beyond their immediate circle, it is believed that Victoria Beckham, David Beckham, Ari Emmanuel, Sarah Rafferty, and Abigail Spencer, who starred alongside Meghan in 'Suits,' also have affiliations with this group.
Recent reports suggest that several A-listers, including Victoria and David Beckham, have opted to distance themselves from the Sussexes. Last month, tensions reportedly flared when Meghan accused the Beckhams of leaking stories to the media.
