Oprah Sues Meghan Markle for Allowing Tourists to Sightsee and Photograph Her House Without Consent

Meghan Markle has found herself in hot water over her Olive Garden in Montecito, where she has been permitting tours. These tours have raised mixed reactions and serious privacy concerns, particularly among celebrities residing in the Montecito area. Notably, her close friend Oprah Winfrey felt her own privacy was violated when Meghan allowed a tour group to venture into Oprah's yard and take photographs without her consent.

Oprah Winfrey has decided to take legal action against Meghan Markle, citing a breach of personal property rights and the undue influence exerted by Meghan on others for personal purposes. The issue at hand revolves around a celebrity sightseeing tour that brings passengers within close proximity to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Montecito Mansion. This tour, known as the "Royal Celebrity Tour of LA in Montecito," is being organized by photographer Carl Larson, a close friend of Meghan's father, Thomas Markle.

Each tour costs approximately $1,200 for a group of six participants. The tour was initially advertised on the website "Trippening," featuring an image of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex sharing a kiss at a polo match in Santa Barbara. In the tour's description, Carl Larson, who is renowned for his exclusive portfolio of photographs of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, presented himself as the only person with insider knowledge about Meghan's relationship with her father and her life leading up to her marriage to Prince Harry.

Larson's listing promised an in-depth tour of Meghan's childhood haunts in the beachside town of Montecito, favored hangouts of Harry and Meghan, Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club (where the royal couple shared a kiss), Meghan's former homes and schools in Los Angeles, and locations near the Sussexes' Montecito estate. Additionally, there are plans to extend the tour to Rosarito, Mexico, where fans can meet Thomas Markle.

Meanwhile, prominent neighbors like Steven Spielberg, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Rob Lowe are reportedly keeping their distance from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Their fear is that any association with the exiled Royals might lead to the disclosure of private information and potentially harm their relationships with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

This hesitance within the Montecito community is evident in their absence from Oprah Winfrey's recent birthday celebration, despite her high-profile interview with the Sussexes in March 2021.

It seems that in the world of Hollywood, everyone has something to protect, whether it's a movie to sell, a Broadway play to debut, or a stake in London or London's West End. The prevailing sentiment is that Prince William and Kate Middleton, who are among the most sought-after celebrities, will avoid events where they suspect someone is friends with Harry and Meghan.

According to inside sources, it ultimately comes down to business and financial interests, and the big power players in Hollywood are unwilling to jeopardize their ventures for the sake of Harry and Meghan.
