According to an expert's opinion, the Duke of Sussex's endeavor to highlight the narratives of former military personnel might not necessarily result in high viewership or financial gains for the streaming platform Netflix.
PR specialist Matt Yanofsky has pointed out, "Traditionally, celebrities engage in charitable activities to enhance their public image and for potential tax benefits. However, the connection between charity efforts and increased sales or viewership for celebrities is historically weak. Consequently, I have reservations about the documentary's ability to gain significant traction solely through its focus on charitable acts."
He further explained to Mirror Online, "Nevertheless, if the documentary manages to deliver emotionally impactful content with compelling stories of veterans, it could indeed capture the audience's attention. The outcome hinges on whether the emphasis is on the veterans' experiences or on the royal couple's involvement."
These insights emerge as Prince Harry enthusiastically expressed his affection for the Invictus Games.
In a preview clip, the Duke stated, "Our Invictus Games community embodies some of the bravest and most dedicated individuals from 23 nations worldwide. 'Heart of Invictus' narrates the remarkable journeys of participants united by their service, now bound by the spirit of sportsmanship."
"Through their paths of recovery from both visible and hidden injuries, these competitors and their loved ones offer a poignant glimpse into their road to the Invictus Games, evoking admiration and respect," Harry added.
